Congrats on acquiring Holland - and thank you for everything you've done for Rosie and I. There aren't enough thanks in the world, i.m.o.

Since you don't like "owner", I whipped out my trusty Webster's New World Dictionary & Thesaurus for you and saw what other, similar terms you could choose from. Instead of the "owner" of Holland, you could be its:

Proprietress, keeper, heiress, landlady, titleholder, or mistress. ^_^

Yes, land ownership can be addictive. I kept nibbling new land until I owned a good hunk of the region I am in then realized I just didn't have the time to use all that land...so I am back to about 2032m^2. But now I have some religious types who have bought about 1/4 of the region which wouldn't be so bad except they have made their land no entry and have these but ugly textured walls on the outside.

I guess it's to ward off evil evolutionists or something.

The happiness is most definitely shared, Traci. I was never really a believer in "things happening for a reason" until I arrived in Second Life. Now I feel it would be nearly impossible for me not to believe it. *smile*

Gabby is right - I am a very fortunate girl. Readers of this blog will know that Marx is intelligent, thoughtful, and articulate - how come she gone all mushy on you?
Right from the start there were subtle signs that knowing Marx was gonna be different : like when she left her calling card, a 10-metre rotating cube emblazoned with the words "Marx Thinks Jewella Roxx"; or the time I impulsively called her "my love" and immediately felt self-compelled to write and explain at length that I didn't mean the "my" in any possessive sense.
So we fell in love and got partnered, what's the big deal? Two things really:
It signifies to each other and to everyone else the remarkable sense of togetherness that we feel. It acknowledges the truth of the situation, it is a public declaration of private and personal joy.
And it is significant - I've loved and been loved before (the same as most of us) but partnership was something I'd done my best to avoid - it just wasn't on my list. But that morning, as soon as I realised where her words were going, there was suddenly nothing in the world I wanted more.
I'm exceptionally proud that she asked me, and what is truly wonderful is that we only just beginning - we got a whole future to construct.

Thank you, Gabby. I have tried to write this before, but I was not ready to post it until I felt it expressed my feelings more than adequately.
